What will your role look like
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through detailed application log analysis and SQL performance tuning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of production systems and minimize downtime.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities following ITIL best practices.
- Drive root cause analysis and ensure long-term fixes for recurring issues.
- Provide support during EST timezone and ensure timely response to business-critical escalations.

We would like you to bring along
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
- Expertise in designing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated experience in application log analysis and debugging at database level.
- Deep understanding of production support processes aligned with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Strong analytical and communication skills with proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively in EST timezone.
Good-to-have skills
- Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation of database tasks.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar).
- Knowledge of data migration or ETL tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
